All throughout my childhood into adulthood, I have been fascinated by the complexity this world has to offer. Due to this fascination, I am therefore drawn to the sciences and I find them riveting! I chose biology as my concentration, but I also find chemistry to be magic-like which piques my interests.
I also hold an associate degree in culinary arts as this was my original career plan before I felt called to teach. It would be a dream of mine to teach a "science of cooking" elective course where I teach important life skills alongside science we find in our everyday lives. Something about my personal life is that I have chosen to spend the rest of my days with my wife and I made that commitment on July 1st 2023. I value interpersonal relationships/family and I am a firm believer in choosing to show love to everyone I interact with. This inclination comes from me choosing to follow Jesus Christ in 2019 and much of my philosophy is based on my Christian beliefs. Things I like to do in my free time would be anything that involves learning complex systems that fit together or a problem I can solve. This is the reason why I very much enjoy small woodworking projects, language learning, and entomology (study of insects)! |
